About the Site
17Dayone.org was created on June 2010, hosted by Rewindhost. I wanted a fresh start from my previous site, Randomiss Designs, and also wanted to take a break from the webscene and focus on school, but more on that later. I chose the name 17dayone (dayone is one word) because I wanted not only freedom time wise but also creatively. I felt that Randomiss and all it's two years of design, in a way, restricted me because of its reputation. Therefore, I wanted to start fresh and be able to take bigger risks with my layouts and be able to execute them without fear of losing my visitors, whom I appreciated very much but sometimes influenced my decisions.Prior to this site, I owned Randomiss Designs and before that I owned Munkie Designs hosted on Blogger. Randomiss Designs began in May 2007 and closed March 2009. Sometimes I wish I made my transition between the two sites a little more smooth, because a lot of my visitors did not know I moved.
This site is still young, and I hope it'll go through a history that's longer the the previous ones. Perhaps even more eventful and successful, but I wouldn't know.
